At the time of writing this article, the film has a rating of 8.2 out of 10 on IMDB based on the votes of nearly 400 members. As with most action films, reviews are mixed and this one is no different. Some are praising it while others are downright trashing it. Andrew Barker of Variety reviewed the movie by stating, ”There’s a fundamental emptiness behind all the flash.”

The trailer is slick and stylish and we definitely get a John Wick vibe from the film. Sadly, some of the fighting that we get to see in the trailer leaves us wanting more, but we’re also hoping that this wasn’t the best they they had to offer. Charlize looks badass for sure and this movie kind of makes us wish that we got her as John Wick’s female rival in John Wick: Chapter 2.
